Chapter 29: Entrepreneurship Education Consortium: a regional approach
The Entrepreneurship Education Consortium (EEC) is a regional organization developed by the collaborative effort of private and public, large and small colleges and universities in Northeast Ohio. The mission of the EEC is to provide practical ‘experiential’ and theoretical education to undergraduate students, preparing them to form either new enterprises or to work for existing businesses or start-up ventures and hopefully to reduce the ‘brain drain’ by remaining in Northeast Ohio. The EEC won the USASBE Innovative Pedagogy award in 2010.
