The investment chapters or agreements between ASEAN and the Dialogue Partners and ACIA share salient similarities and adopt most of the international best practices for the protection of international investments. Nevertheless, as in any other regional and international investment framework, the investment chapters and agreements and the Dialogue Partners do have several differences. Table 15.1 opposite shows the differences and similarities of applications of each of the agreements.
