With over 1.7 billion Muslims worldwide, one would expect some number of them seek sharia-compliant investing solutions. Yet, there is no single source for independent, global Islamic asset management outside of a few marginal providers. None of the major global asset managers currently offer sharia-compliant investing. Presumably if they did there may be substantial demand for sharia-compliant asset management added to their firm’s service offerings.
