Chapter 7: Conclusion
Restricted access

The concluding chapter focuses on three main themes. It starts by using the analyses of Chapter 6 to make the argument for a framework of EU constitutional rights norms. It then adds to this by drawing more strongly on Chapters 2 and 3 by adding the relevance of the discussion for the fundamental rights discourse, with particular reference to ongoing debates of the UK Human Rights Act. Lastly, it presents concluding points regarding the criticism of constitutional rights theory, again bringing in the findings presented in Chapters 2 to 6.
