In this chapter, we discuss strategies on how to increase the impact of the scholar’s published work. We focus on not only the benefits of serving as a reviewer, but also discuss strategies to increase the impact of the scholar’s published articles. This includes the use of social media and a discussion of the various impact measures to assess the impact of a scholar’s work. We also cover the use of work on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL) as a way to increase an author’s impact on the field.
