Chapter 10: Are digital natives eco-friendly consumers?

This chapter examines the attitudes and behaviors digital natives have towards the environment. The chapter also examines their capacity to be changemakers and promoters of sustainable consumption modes so as to influence the behaviors of previous generations. The following questions are considered: Do digital natives care about sustainable development? What are their attitudes and behaviors regarding the environment? And who are the main socialization agents influencing youth behaviors when it comes to ecological issues and the impact of their consumption on the environment.
