Chapter 4: Seven quality choicepoints of ART
Restricted access

Chapter Four details the seven quality choicepoints within the ART model: intention, partnership, contribution, methods, actionability, proliferation, and developmental reflexivity. At the forefront, intentions must be clear on what needs to be changed. From here, you need partnership with the right people to develop actionable knowledge. Since ART takes its roots in accumulated knowledge, contribution is critical. Next, the participative method with which you are conducting ART must be clear for future ARTists. The last three we see are as follows: Actionability as a means to change and enact transformation, proliferation to create a wider field of change, and, lastly, developmental reflexivity - which demands we go inward to reflect to find out why we act the way we do.
