Part Two, Chapter Three deals with the task of healing small communities, or microworlds, to proliferate ART. In this, it addresses how to acknowledge, while working towards ART, the structural privilege, such as racism, that our society is built on if we want more citizens to engage in addressing our eco-social crises. Examples are given of leaning into conflict to salvage collaboration and the possibility of co creating with others. What is key here are developmental friendships brought about by being less reactive, leading to healing that eventually takes place on a larger scale.
