Chapter 11: Ethical and professional standards of the CFA® Program and finance-related university education

Many finance-focused university students aspire to jobs in the investments field and it is imperative that they are exposed to investments-related ethics along with the technical aspects of finance while at university. In this article, I discuss why teaching finance-specific ethics is important, provide an overview of the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct, and discuss the benefits of including them in the university finance curriculum.
