This chapter looks at what happens when a debtor dies prior to initiating an IVA, during the initiating procedures and during the course of the IVA. It considers the difficulties presented by the badly worded legislation and what this means in practice. It further considers issues of incapacity and finally takes a brief look at the rules governing the taxation of IVAs.
