The recent COVID-19 crisis has had a huge impact on many aspects of daily life and has resulted in both economic and non-economic consequences. The terrible loss of countless lives throughout the world is one of the non-economic consequences. In terms of economic impact, the pandemic has wreaked havoc on the lives of millions of people all over the world. The COVID-19 pandemic has also impacted sustainable and responsible investment (SRI) of organisations. It has changed the dynamics with respect to stakeholder capitalism. COVID-19 has taught everyone that others must live for us to also live. The chapter examines the emerging trends and issues in SRI. It looks at how firms are incorporating environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues in their financing and investment decisions in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic. It discusses the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on SRI. The chapter also proposes how to reform post the pandemic and prevent a new crisis.
