This chapter presents the historical process of international migratory flows in Mexico; the migratory policies of the USA, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador governments; the different social actors involved; some of the most aggressive practices against their human rights; and some reflections on what may happen if the migratory policy articulated by Donald Trump during his US election campaign becomes fact. One of the most important arguments is that the Central American populations passing through Mexico already face adverse migratory situations, even before migrating. In that sense, the possible scenario will be more complicated for migrants and humanitarian networks, and harsh conditions will emerge along the southern border of Mexico.
