The teaching case method in business and management schools brings real-world situations into the classroom, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. However, most case studies are set in developed regions, often neglecting other diverse contexts such as peripheral regions, rural areas, or the Global South. Context shapes entrepreneurial experiences, with unique challenges in different socio-economic, cultural, and geopolitical landscapes. Teaching cases should therefore reflect these diverse geographical and developmental settings, emphasizing the importance of context in decision-making. This book introduces case studies from varied contexts, highlighting the universality and specificity of entrepreneurship.
