Our journal programme is continuing to grow with the addition of the Military Law and the Law of War Review (MLLWR), set to publish in late 2020.
Founded in 1962 under the auspices of the International Society for Military Law and the Law of War (the “Society”), the Military Law and the Law of War Review / Revue de Droit Militaire et de Droit de la Guerre (the “Review”) ranks among the oldest and most respected publications at the international level in the area of military/security law and the law of armed conflict. Initially entitled Revue de Droit Pénal Militaire et de Droit de la Guerre / Military Law and the Law of War Review, it changed to its current name in 1989.
The Review will be published by Edward Elgar Publishing, in partnership with the Belgian Centre for Military Law and the Law of War, with the support of the Belgian Ministry of Defence.
Interested in writing on this subject? The Review's editorial board welcomes submissions that come within the broader scope of the Review, including military law, law of armed conflict, law on the use of force, as well as international criminal law and human rights law (inasmuch as related to situations of armed conflict).
