Adam Shaw-Mellors and Pieter Koornhof

In this chapter, the authors discuss best practices in relation to not only how one should seek to teach principles of law to business students, but also what the content is that should be focused on. The authors reject the traditional practice of merely simplifying the content taught to law students, instead submitting that teaching law to business students requires a different focus and context, and that by making (relatively simple) changes to their approach, the law lecturer will not only improve the experience for business students, but also develop skills that may assist them when teaching and engaging in other contexts.
