Charities or voluntary organizations play a significant role in the economy and for society. The main aim of this chapter is to develop and present a new framework for evaluating these entities to help donors make reliable decisions regarding financial support. The recommended approach employs the MAMCA methodology and methods from the PROMETHEE family, namely, PROMETHEE II, PROMETHEE IIv and EXPROM IIv. This approach facilitates the decision-making process since it provides insights about the stakeholders’ positions and enables the inclusion of different points of view. The case study presented in the chapter is based on the assessment of Public Benefit Organizations (PBOs) – a special legal type of non-governmental organizations in Poland – from one of the Polish provinces, operating in the field of ‘Children and youth recreation’. The outcomes obtained can not only serve decision-makers but also authorities in delegating publicly financed tasks.
