Geoheritage and cultural heritage have a range of connections that include: literature and art; architecture and the built environment; landscape character and land use; archaeology and historical values; religious and spiritual values; and the 'memory' of the Earth and the history of geoscience. This chapter provides a selective review of the growing literature on these connections and the opportunities they offer for enhancing the destination experience of a wide spectrum of visitors and communicating the value of geoheritage and the need for its conservation.
