This chapter explores the structures and dynamics of entrepreneurial networks of nascent entrepreneurs along their firm development processes. The focus is on similarities and differences of the advisor networks in various countries of the MENA and the adjoining nations, a relatively underresearched region that is gaining more attention. Using the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor networking data, we determine country-level differences in the types of advisor networks pursed by the nascent entrepreneurs. The results reveal a parsimonious way of economically defining (factor-, efficiency- and innovation-driven) national clusters that tend to manifest similar structures of advisor networks. The investigation also reveals that nascent entrepreneurs in these countries are more likely to keep similar network structures when moving from startup to the operational phase.
