This chapter explores how the Eastern philosophy of non-duality in the lineage of Advaita Vedanta, a school in Hinduism, and the radical ontology (that is, a conception of the basic structures of reality) of non-separation it sustains, may help further relational understandings of leadership, in particular with respect to the practice of care. We shall see how the Advaita sustains a notion of leadership engaged with sensing, with others, and with non-action in radical and fundamental ways. I examine and challenge three particular dualities or binaries: mind–body, self–other, and action versus non-action.
