About the author

David E. McNabb

David E. McNabb is Professor Emeritus at Pacific Lutheran University and the audit commissioner of a local water and wastewater utility. He has taught graduate and undergraduate business administration courses at Oregon State University, the Stockholm School of Economics–Riga, Evergreen State College, the University of Maryland-UC (Europe), and the University of Washington–Tacoma. He is an Adjunct Professor at Olympic College and a recent consultant on aspects of survey methodology for an agency of the U.S. government. He earned his PhD at Oregon State University, an MA at the University of Washington, and a BA at California State University, Fullerton. He served as Director of Communications for a caucus of the Washington House of Representatives and as Director of Economic Development for the City of Fullerton, California. He has authored twelve books and nearly one hundred articles and conference papers. The first edition of Research Methods in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management: Quantitative and Qualitative Approaches received the Grenzebach Research Award for Outstanding Published Scholarship.
