Chapter 7: The law and the principle of labour mobility
The purpose of Chapter 7 is to establish how the law regulates labour mobility in the United States and Japan and it therefore adopts a comparative approach. The purpose of this chapter will be achieved by describing and analysing the relevant rules in labour law, contract law and competition law in each of the two jurisdictions that govern labour mobility in professional baseball.
