Educational Challenges for the Future
Chapter 9: Recommendations
The previous chapters highlighted the successes, failures and shortcomings of the UN’s engagement with HRE. The analysis revealed that the international community continues to struggle with the problem of how best to promote and encourage HRE. The research findings indicate that there is significant room for improvement in the way the UN promotes HRE. This is particularly true when it comes to monitoring states’ HRE efforts, and engaging in constructive dialogue with governments about how they might more effectively implement HRE within their jurisdiction.
