Chapter 9: Methodological approaches towards context-sensitive entrepreneurship research
This chapter examines current methodological trends in entrepreneurship research. The analyses focus on the match between methodological decisions (research designs, scales, samples, and so on) and entrepreneurial reality including the entrepreneur, the venture, and the context. It is argued that a consideration of context within each step of the research process is not only recommended but is key to advance the quality and validity of our results.
