Ecosystems, Innovation and Development
Edited by François Thérin, Francesco P. Appio and Hyungseok Yoon
Abstract
As a relatively new and still emerging topic, the literature on reverse innovation has seen only few contributions attempting to review this young and dynamic field. The aim of this chapter is twofold. A meta-analysis of the main literature on reverse innovation allows us to categorize the existing work and disentangle the main findings discovered so far. In the subsequent discussion we highlight intrinsic social dimensions within reverse innovation and outline possible further research.
