Chapter 20: Dispute resolution, domestic violence and abuse between lesbian partners
This chapter considers the extent to, and the manner in which, domestic violence and abuse within lesbian relationships influence dispute resolution. It argues that the ways in which such violence and abuse are manifested and intersect with broader structural violence have direct repercussions on the emergence of disputes, on the decision concerning whether and how to pursue a claim, and are important during the resolution process itself.
