Chapter 15: UGH! Generational conflict amidst a change effort

In the author’s exercise, participants experience how workers present themselves as the best person for a new leadership role. The purpose of this exercise is to gain appreciation of challenges of four different generations in the workforce today. Through an experiential role play, participants will gain an appreciation of the values and needs of different age groups and how it can impact decisions. More importantly, participants may even realize their own shortcomings when working with other age groups.
