The empirical work highlighted in this chapter responds to calls to develop intuition in executives by explicating an elicitation technique that fosters intuitive insight through attention to metaphor. This compliments previous work on the elicitation of intuition and builds on the relationship between metaphor and intuition and has implications for the development of intuition in executive education.
